Apple Cinnamon & Honey Smoothie

If you're all Pumpkin Spiced out, this is the fall breakfast smoothie for you! September is the beginning of Apple Season in Ontario, so head down to your local orchard or farm market and pick up some fresh apples and local honey.

Equipment

  • 1 blender
  • 1 Apple peeler & corer
  • 2 Serving Glasses

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Low-fat milk the oats will give you the tick creamy texture
  • 1/2 cup Plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup Rolled oats
  • 1 Apple, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1 Large frozen banana, chopped
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1.5 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Wildflower Honey

Instructions
 

  • Combine all of the ingredients in the blender and process until you have reached your desired smooth texture. Pour into your glasses and serve. Optional: you can top with sprinkled cinnamon and a piece of honeycomb.
