Hot Apple Cider & Honey Vodka

There’s nothing quite like a warm cup of apple cider on a chilly fall day. And while it’s delicious on its own, adding a little something extra can take it to the next level. That’s where this Hot Apple Cider & Honey Vodka recipe comes in.

Not only is it delicious and perfect for cozy gatherings, but it also gives you an excuse to visit your local apple orchard, farmers’ market, farm stand, or farm shop. Using fresh apples, apple cider, and local raw honey will give your drink a depth of flavor that’s hard to beat.

But what really sets this recipe apart is the addition of honey vodka. The sweetness of the honey vodka complements the tartness of the apple cider perfectly, creating a thick, sweet combination that will have you coming back for more.

Room For Experimentation

Of course, the real fun of this recipe is the room it leaves for experimentation. You can use a spiced or mulled apple cider to add even more depth of flavor. And when it comes to the honey vodka, the possibilities are endless. Try a citrus-infused honey for a tangy twist, or pair chai-infused honey with plain apple cider for a cozy, comforting drink.

If you can’t find infused honey, don’t worry. You can experiment with the ingredients at the syrup stage of the recipe. For example, try adding chai tea instead of the cinnamon stick and orange, or mix and match different citrus fruits for a unique flavor.

Once you get comfortable with the basic recipe, you’ll find yourself wanting to try all sorts of different flavor combinations. And why not? With so many delicious options, you’re sure to find a variation that’s perfect for any season or occasion.
